A "fantastic find in this tourist area", this "cozy and comfortable" quasi-Victorian, owned by the Kessler group and "right on the lake", exchanges "Orlando's hustle and bustle" for the nostalgia of Celebration, the "quaint and lovely" (if a little too "Stepford Wives"-ish) planned community five minutes away from Disneyworld; rooms are outfitted with four-poster beds and other classic furnishings, while an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. is nearby.

The atmosphere was perfect, it had a Ernest Hemingway feeling about it.

We found out when we checked in there was a extra $12 per day charge (mandatory) for things we didn't need.

We loved the hotel. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and this is my top 5. I would recommend this hotel and already have to my friends and family. It's got that Ernest Hemingway feel about it. We will be back! ...read more

Celebration was a great little area.

Didn't seem to cater to families. More for couples I suppose.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was ok, but several things were wrong, including a loud ceiling fan, a television with a mind of its own, and a small pool. A wedding basically consumed the entire hotel during our stay, but we were not inconvenienced by it. The environment around the hotel was excellent. Close to shops, several restaurants, a movie theater, and a short drive to Disney. Overall, a nice hotel, but not exactly what we thought we were bidding on. The refrigerator in the room had no room for anything but what the hotel was offering for sale, which was a minor inconvenience. ...read more
